“Negotiate your own writing goals and audience expectations regarding conventions of the genre, medium, and rhetorical situation”

I would take this CLO as basically knowing how to analyze rhetorical elements and know what to use in your writing when it comes to Genre, medium, and rhetorical situation.

I think I have achieved this CLO decently because I have had to different forms of media and genre with every assignment. Although they were chosen for use most of the time, it was always explained to us why we have to write in certain medium forms when it comes to certain goals. For example, while writing the memo to the school, we chose email as a form of a medium because it was most optimal in that form.

If I were to go back though, I would change my medium for the technical description. Now that I think about it that form of information is best shown in slides. This is an example of my advancement when it comes to this CLO.
