This assignment was titled “Memo” and was the first major assignment we completed. A Memo is a type of genre used for expressing something or reporting something. In this case, students were asked to address a problem on campus and make possible suggestions

This was our stepping stone into the rhetorical elements because we had to do our research and find out who can address this problem, and also who would be interested in knowing about the problem. The memo was done in an email format, which also gave us a glimpse of why media matters when writing something.
